Once again the Wiltshire Region in conjunction with Neil Garner is organising an Open Day at Kemble Business Park SN16 9SH on the Wiltshire Gloucestershire border this time on Saturday 30th September starting at 10am. Please don’t arrive before then as we will still be setting up.
With this year being the 70th anniversary of TVR and also with TVR Manufacturing having plans to take a new car to Le Mans in the foreseeable future, our the theme is : ‘TVR – Racing into the next Decade’
In this respect we are hoping to get a selection of Racing TVR’s for display and your assistance is requested to help us achieve this. We have already been promised some, but more are wanted. The organising Committee would be very grateful if you could send out this request to all your Regions Members for their assistance in providing Racing Cars for display so that we can make this a day to remember.
Whilst it is at Kemble Business Park and Home of Neil Garner Performance Engineering/Neil Garner Motor Sport, this is not a commercial venture but an event primarily designed to give members a good day out with lots of things to see and do. Any profits made on the day go to The Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Neil Garner open their workshops and allow us to use their indoor car storage area for our TVR ‘Theatre’ and support us by providing power, loo’s, advice and help in operating the event. We are very grateful to them and all the companies on the business park who allow us to use their outside areas, without their permission we just could not hold it.
Each year the event seems to get bigger and this year is no exception with 25 traders of all things TVR already signed up with more to come. To give you a flavour of whats install there will be traders (25 so far have promise to be there), Rolling road, Mystery concours, TVR Theatre sessions on detailing, engine management and maintenance, Auction (so bring plenty of money), Raffle, TVRCC Shop with Ali in attendance, Pizza’s, Burgers, Coffee, Churros and Ice cream. Plus lots more. Don’t forget its free to get in and all profits go to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, so please give generously.
